Introduction
Hybrid CE managed to secure a contract from Sapura Research to be in involved as a panel contractor in implementation of GIRN project. This project, using newly developed Tetra system platform will provide related government agency with highly secured nationwide coverage network. In the contract, Hybrid CE will provide engineering services for base transceiver station (BTS) and transmission equipment (microwave) for the said project.
Initial phase will cover major town and soon will be expanding to cover approx. 95% populated area nationwide incl. East Malaysia. Currently, commissioning and integration of microwave and BTS will be done by NSN dept. (Sapura in-house contractor), based on our past experience and skills, we are hoping to build up our competence and knowledge in the new Tetra system technology. Our scope of work will be installation of BTS and transmission microwave, Installation of battery backup and rectifier, GPS antenna incl. VSWR test of feeder cable and antenna for BTS. The most important, all contractor involved in the project will ensure all the implementation work according to specification and guidelines in order to maintain high quality, in addition all safety requirements (workplace and resources) must be carefully emphasize at all time based on the client requirements.
